Our Entry to the Scarecrow Contest is "Silly Sally."
Ms. Charlotte ROCKS! Under the direction of Ms. Charlotte the children of 1-303 made a phenominal scarecrow that was entered in the PTA Scarecrow Contest. Silly Sally turned a lot of heads. Silly Sally went to town, leaping backwards, upside down.
Last Week's Parent Fun Friday was Veggie Cats with Jacqueline's Mom
Jacqueline's mom, Stacey, came to our room for a great veggie shapes activity. We made the shape of a cat out of cauliflower, carrots, squash and celery. After we completed the cat we munched on veggies, humus and olives. We had a great time.

We were treated to a lesson in finger knitting by Sophia's mom, Renata. After some confusion we were able to get some nice work done. Once again, we had a great parent helper turnout. Thanks Renata!
